Rotary Airlock Valves
Rotary airlock valves meter powders and granules from hoppers, cyclones and bag filters into pneumatic conveying lines while maintaining a pressure seal between the two sides.
Manufactured in SS 304, SS 316 and cast iron with drop-through and blow-through housings, adjustable tip clearance and geared motor drives.
A multi-vane rotor turning inside a machined housing carries material from the inlet to the outlet while maintaining a pressure seal between the two sides, so powder can be discharged from a cyclone, bag filter or dryer without loss of vacuum or conveying air. Drop-through and blow-through bodies, adjustable tip clearance and shaft seal purging are available.
