Nutsche Filters & Agitated Nutsche Filter Dryers

Nutsche filters provide closed, contamination-free filtration and washing of pharmaceutical and chemical slurries. We build simple nutsche filters and agitated nutsche filters with cake washing and vacuum or pressure operation.

All product contact parts are mirror polished to GMP standards with sanitary fittings, sight glasses and CIP-friendly internals.

Slurry is charged onto a multi-layer filter media supported on a perforated SS plate; vacuum or nitrogen pressure drives the mother liquor through while the cake is retained, washed and then smoothed or discharged by the agitator. Hydraulic or mechanical blade lifting, cake squeezing and side or bottom discharge arrangements are offered for solvent-wet and toxic products.
